ARC Sports Performance at The Competitive Edge Training will test your limits and make you better, faster, stronger appropriate for your fitness level and age. With individual programming and technique, ARC athletes improve total body, core, and extremity strength.

Cheyenne Verdoorn - Director of Sports Performance ARC

Cheyenne physically and mentally prepares athletes of all ages for the rigors of their desired goals. She optimizes sports performance through injury prevention, linear/lateral speed and agility, flexibility, stability, plyometrics, weight training, resistance training, and conditioning that creates a competitive and safe training culture. 

Cheyenne coached with and was mentored by the NSCA Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year, Andrea Hudy, who is the Head Strength Coach for the University of Kansas Men's & Women's Basketball. Cheyenne assisted training University of Kansas athletes  including 2014 NBA number one draft pick, Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid. While at the University of Kanas she helped implement Sparta Science Force Plate Technology using measureable force production of an athlete that alllows prescription of exercises tailored to the individuals needs to be a balanced athlete and therefore, reduces the risk of injury during their sport, while also improving their vertical jump. She also is a featured athlete in Andrea Hudy's book, Power Positions. As a former student assistant coach and athlete at the University of Kansas, Cheyenne holds a high standard and empowers her athletes to reach their full potential. 

She has continued to work with high level athletes while at ARC Sports Performance. An impressive list including numerous professional and college athletes. Notably, first round NBA draft pick Landry Shamet and fourth round MLB draft pick Aaron Ashby. While developing high level athletes at ARC Sports Performance, Cheyenne continues to develop athletes of all ages and skill level.
